These two months were amazing. I learned how to use ‘since’ and ‘for’ and I saw many mistakes I did. The website project made me proud of myself because I shared with people my point of view and I read many articles in English (I wasn’t used to this before September).
Thanks to M. Kirrage, I learned I haven’t to be in England to practice English intensively : I create my “English world” (quote by M. Kirrage) : currently I use facebook in English, I watch my series with English subtitles… My parents refuse to watch films in English, but I know I will change their minds soon.

I’m Soledad. I’m eighteen years old. I have difficulties in English so it’s for that a I have chosen this subject. I would like to work in corporate events managment. During these two months with Mr Kirrage we have studied English in a different way with new objectives. This year I’ve learned more English more than I learned in other years.
Nameta I didn’t like English because I think it’s a very complicated language! During these 2 months with Mr Kirrage we learned to avoid making mistakes in essays or other exsercises. We have seen that English at school is not necessarly in books and the text books. It’s everywhere around us, in the news etc
Claire
I don’t think that I have a lot of problems with grammar, but we have certainly seen some details, which will make me speak English more fluently, which I need. Moreover, I have a very pretty french accent that I can’t get rid of.
Mr Kirrage helped us a lot with the function of the tenses that we learnt a long time ago but that I didn’t rememeber very much.
The 20 common mistakes lesson cleared up a lot mistakes that we could avoid easily (and therefore earn point in our written work!). Even if it took a long time to understand what exactly was the project Angloxchange, I think it’s a really good idea. It’s really rare that teachers engage themselves in that kind of project and it helps us to build vocabulary and to improve expression.
I hope I will continue to get vocabulary and improve my english style the next few months.

I have chosen English because I love this language.
During two months we did different things! Mister Kirrage has taught us to avoid common mistakes; we have produced our project : we found an article and looked for other information about this subject (videos, other articles, pictures).
Working on our project was very interesting because we learn many things about our subject and subject and from other people !
These two months with mister Kirrage are great !

Mr Kirrage is a good and very crazy teacher!! I love his website, I think it is a good idea for reading and writing English. Moreover, this website creates a relationship with the students and between the students.
But I think the set-up was long and we lost some time during class. I think we need work all the time in computer room. But I would like also to do grammar exercices because it can we help to write our article and correct or mistakes.

During theses two months, I retained the 20 common mistakes that all French people make. I retained the lesson that we did about tenses and also the only writing that we had to do.
I loved coming to Mr.Kirrage lesson’s and the project that we had to do in a group. My work was about a famous band that I love, so I liked that

I think AngloXchange can be something good but it lacks a graphic identity appropriate for today’s youth. But it seems to be something cool.

Grammar: It was interesting to see the tenses all together. It helped identify the differences between past simple and present perfect, for example. But we need to do more if we are to progress and be more precise in English ready for the Bac. More grammar please! But not too much.
Style: I learnt the style for a redaction which use for the Bac, it was a good help because I didn’t do correctly.
Angloxchange: It’s good idea to do this because I can speak more easily about something which interests me.

I don’t like the grammar, but the lessons with Mister Kirrage made me understand some points.
I make some mistakes with tenses and I lack vocabulary, however I can hold a conversation. The site angloXchange is a very good experience. I found that very interesting. I hope for future lessons to enrich my vocabulary and to finally use tenses without hesitation.
Constance Grammar : I need to improve my grammar, especially with verbs and prepositons. Modals are sometimes a little bit imprecise.
Style : I’ve got a lack of vocabulary, I always use the same verbs.
AngloXchange : good experience, it was interesting to focus on a subject that we chose and to write something about it, but, it really took a lot of time and we didn’t work enough on the oral skills which could have been interesting with a British teacher!

I think Mr Kirrage help us a lot in grammar especially for the modals. But I would like to work more on conjugations and sentence formation.
I think angloxchange is a good thing but we need to work on it at home and not in class or at least a little less. But it’s more interresting and funny than academic exercises.

Lessons of grammar with Mr Kirrage served me but everything still isn’t clear for me.
The common mistakes I make are grammatical but espacially with past tenses.
I think angloxchange was a good experience, very modern, but the organization was a little bit muddled somtimes.
It was a real pleasure working with you!
